How quick does time go? Seriously, it felt like yesterday when Arteq was born. Ideas, music and jokes around a dirty garage that fortunately turned into something pretty special. From warehouses to rooftops and everything in between; techno, disco, house; art galleries, body painting and live art, we truly hope you have enjoyed our journey so far, and continue to ride the wave with us.
And so now it comes, our 3rd birthday. It's always a challenge trying to one up previous gigs, but it's something we promise ourselves every time. It's rewarding seeing everyone unite under the Arteq banner; smiling, laughing, dancing.. so prep yourself for the biggest party yet.
Arteq turns Three with Raxon (Ellum / Diynamic) [EG]
We invite Raxon. A super talented DJ and producer who holds the Egyptian flag high. "Raxon’s fan base and reputation continue to grow around the world, DJ Mag Middle East have been quick to recognize his efforts by placing him at No 7 in their Top 100 DJ Poll in 2010 and he was voted Best Dubai DJ in 2013 and 2014 by Time Out Dubai." Having music signed to the worlds most reverred labels such as Ellum, Diynamic Music, Noir Music and Tronic see's Ahmed Raxon to a world stage.
We welcome him for his debut Melbourne show alongside an Arteq only lineup featuring Machete, Kirk Chetcuti, Karl Devic and Jeremy Daeng at Albert Park Country Club on Saturday July 7.
Blow out our candles for us, mingle with friends and dance to some legitimate house and techno for 8 hours. As always, a killer lighting and production set up is in place, alongside gourmet food and drink.
