We welcome an up & coming, thriving artist from the world's pumping heart of electronic music, Berlin. Annett Gapstream curates the 18th Arteq podcast with an hour of driving rhythms, moving melodies, grungy synths, and energising arps, all fitted together to curate a humming jungle like experience.
Annett Gapstream is an artist that we are proud to represent in the land down under, and we look forward to seeing her progress through her journey.
Annett, thank you very much for such an amazing mix. We look forward to seeing you soon enough.
More from Arteq and Annett Gapstream below.
What direction did you take on the podcast?
My favorite direction always includes some little stops and detours.
Why did you decide to go this way?
Because the time on the dance floor as well as the time at home while listening to a set shouldn't be a race and rather leave some time and space for creative breaks.
What did you use to record this mix?
I used CDJ's and an Allen & Heath Xone 92.
When did you start DJing, but more importantly, why?
Around 6 years ago but it's really hard to determine the real "start" - maybe it was 10 years ago. Why is pretty obvious I guess.
Describe Annett Gapstream in 5 words.
Melodic, colorful, dark, day techno.
Are there any productions coming out soon?
Just released a remix of my track finally on the 15 years Stil vor Talent Compilation
