What direction did you take on the podcast?
I just wanted to keep it groovy, build the vibe up and just have fun with it, really happy with how it came together.
What are some of your favourite artists?
Some of my favourite international artists are Rinzen and Maksim Dark but most of my favourite artist are Aussies like Tom Baker, Connor Mac, Unknown Concept, John Baptiste and Doppel, all absolute weapons.
2022 is nearly over, what’s been your favourite memory so far?
I spent a month in Portugal and was lucky enough to go to BOOM festival, it was a crazy experience and seeing a bunch of absolute weapons play on the alchemy circle stage left me feeling really inspired.
What do you hope to accomplish in 2023?
I’m hoping to give music production a crack, I want to be able to play some of my own tracks in my sets in the future so I’d like to get started and see what I can create once I learn how it’s done.
Tell us about something fun coming up for Timba?
I’ve been lucky enough to have been given a set on the bush techno stage at Esoteric 2023, It’s a doof I’ve loved attending for the last few years and the bush techno stage is an amazing space to party and connect with people so I’m looking forward to that and hope I can deliver the goods when I get behind the decks.
