What direction did you take on the podcast?
I wanted something upbeat, friendly, fun, and catchy all rolled into one. Selfishly, I was wanting to create something I can just throw on in the car over summer, for the various road trips coming up and I think this is it ;)
Who have been your fav artists this year?
Honey Dijon and Blessed Madonna are two of my favourites year in, year out! Other artists on repeat this year have been Fred Again, Shouse and Jaded!
2022 is nearly over, what's your fav memory of this year?
I don’t think I could put my finger on one favourite! I’ve unashamedly found myself leaving venues saying “that was my favourite set to date” a few too many times this year. I can’t pick one favourite, but the best part of this year has been all the experiences I’ve been lucky enough to have and my favourite part of that is all the amazing people I’ve come across doing it... they make the memories and stories even better!!
What do you hope to accomplish in 2023?
Looking forward to doing a few things outside of Melbourne next year and maybe some festivals… but we will have to wait and see! I’m also hoping to accomplish getting a track out in the world in 2023, but that seems like a long way from happening at this stage.
What's coming up for Some Sheila?
There’s plenty of fun summer party’s coming up! One that I’m way too excited for is supporting Crazy P at the Poof Doof x Thick of Thieves event at ATET (7 Jan).
